Bullying: What Moms Need To Know

Bullying is something that touches the heart of almost every mother.  Recently, I asked my friend, colleague and bullying expert Kary Valdes, LCSW her thoughts on bullying. 1. Bullying has become a constant topic in the news over the past few years. As a child and adolescent therapist, what do you think moms need to know about bullying? I think that everyone needs to realize that Bullying is not going away. It has been around since the beginning of time and is part of human behavior. Happy Spring Weather!

Wow! The weather here in Tennessee has been crazy beautiful lately. Sunny, warm, pleasant and inviting the little ones outside for hours at a time. Changing the World

How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world. ~Anne Frank Do you remember reading “The Diary of Anne Frank” in school?  What a powerful message of one teenager changing the world through her own thoughts written down in a small diary.  Could anyone have imagined the impact she would have? As moms, we change the world everyday!  We change the world by changing diapers and playing one more game of G.I. Joe before nap time.  We change the world by getting up early to pack lunches, drive them to school and…
