My three year old daughter always had a challenging time fitting into shoes with her wide foot. I bought her a new pair and she complained that they were too tight when she put them on. I told her to wear them for the day to stretch them out. She spent the entire day at preschool and didn’t say another word. She wore them for two days. On the third day I was taking a sock out of the shoe when I noticed something else in there. The shoe packing paper that is in the shoe in there store… yeah, it was still there! Squished at the toe of the shoe but still about an inch thick of hard paper. Definitely not getting the “Mom of the year” award for that one!
